Reporting to Parents

What to Expect Throughout the Year

We believe that clear, consistent communication about your child’s progress is essential to supporting their learning journey. Here is a guide to the regular updates and reports you will receive across the academic year:

  • End of Autumn Term: A concise progress report featuring Teacher Judgement data for all core subjects, alongside personalised learning targets for the Spring Term.

  • End of Spring Term: A mid-year report offering an overview of your child’s engagement with, and attainment in,  core subjects, a dedicated comment on their Behaviour for Learning and targeted steps for the Summer Term.

  • End of Summer Term: An end-of-year report detailing final Teacher Judgement grades across all core and foundation subjects, alongside a Personal Comment.

  •

Statutory Assessment Reporting

In addition to our termly progress reports, parents of children in specific year groups will receive official results for national statutory assessments at the end of the academic year:

  • Reception: Good Level of Development (GLD) outcome

  • Year 1: Phonics Screening Check (PSC) result

  • Year 4: Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) score

  • Year 6: End-of-key-stage National Curriculum Tests (SATs) results
