Acre Schools Federation

Inspiring Brighter Futures Together
OUR STORY
Acre Schools Federation is currently made up of Clapham Manor Primary School and
Sudbourne Primary School, both community schools are located in the London Borough of Lambeth. The road between these two founding schools, Acre Lane, provided the inspiration for the Federation’s name. The schools first began working together in a soft federation in 2022, sharing a commitment to continuous improvement, an aspiration to innovate and a belief in evidence-led best practice. Working in partnership brought significant benefits to the children in both schools: an improved curriculum offer, dedicated specialist staff, new inter-school sports competitions, enhanced training and collaboration opportunities for staff, and substantial financial efficiencies to ensure sustainability and security for the future.

In 2024, we formalised our partnership by launching our hard federation. But our story doesn’t end here. We are committed to the ongoing evolution of our offer, continuing to improve children’s education through a culture of progress that benefits our schools and the wider community.
What Acre Means to Us!
An acre is a space full of potential. A place where ideas take root, imaginations soar and futures take shape. Our schools lay the ground for learning without limits, where all children have the space to grow, the freedom to explore and the care to thrive. Together, we cultivate curiosity, confidence and ambition so every child can flourish at school and far beyond.
