Why Work With Us?
At Acre Schools Federation, we believe that great schools are built by great people. We are committed to creating an inspiring, supportive, and collaborative environment where staff can thrive professionally and personally.
By joining our team, you become part of a community that shares a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people. We value innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning, providing opportunities for professional development, career progression, and leadership growth across our schools.
Our collaborative structure enables colleagues to share expertise, resources, and best practice, while still celebrating the unique identity and strengths of each school. We foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and wellbeing, recognising that when our staff feel valued and supported, they are empowered to make the greatest difference.
Our partners
We are also committed to developing the next generation of outstanding teachers. Through our partnership with the London South Teaching Hub, we offer the School Direct teacher training programme, providing high-quality, school-based routes into teaching. In addition, we work closely with University College London (UCL) as a host school for the PGCE School-Led Professional Studies route, enabling trainee teachers to benefit from both academic excellence and practical classroom experience within our schools. As an active member of the London Maths Hub, we also engage in collaborative professional learning and curriculum development to strengthen teaching and learning across our schools.
We are continually investing in the professional growth of our staff and are currently
embarking on our Steplab journey across the Federation. Through Steplab evidence-
informed instructional coaching model, colleagues receive personalised support to refine their practice, build confidence, and develop expertise through regular coaching conversations and focused professional development. This approach promotes a culture of continuous improvement, enabling staff at all stages of their careers to make meaningful, sustainable improvements to their teaching and leadership practice, ultimately enhancing outcomes for all pupils.
Whether you are at the start of your career or looking for your next leadership opportunity, our Federation offers the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence in education and to helping every child achieve their full potential.
